For the ones who like this stuff and someway are around the middle east...
The italian duo Max & Maurizio gonna make an exclusive blasting presentation with all the new toones of Etnica/Pleiadians LIVE! + Dj set in Tel Aviv on 30/1/04.
+ some conspirazzionne latino surprises from Argentina of course!

If it's not the same creative source they can damn well bury it now instead of milking their history for all it's worth. I too was one among many eagerly awaiting the new material, but what's the point? Just so we can get the NEW & IMPROVED Pleiadians - the one with less complexity, recycling old tunes with a full-on bass line? Are the people who originally made Pleiadians great even still around?

Totally agree with you basilisk. If they can't make material to compete with IFO and FOL (and with Andrea and Carlo gone, it is highly probable), the best thing they can do is to "resign".
My question was more down-to-earth though : did they already take this path ?

Anyone remember the Pleiadians? IFO and Family of Light? Anyone know if these four (Max Lanfranconi, Maurizio Begotti, Carlo Paterno and Andrea Rizzo) will be getting back together any time soon? For that matter have they been making trance indpendently or have they moved on or what? |

I think it is fairly accepted by now that the active members of the current Etnica line-up were not the prime inspiration for the Pleiadians project, though they do appropriate the name for a few releases here and there. Carlo Paterno is allegedly the brains of the old operation and the word is that the schism is final.
If you'd like to hear a great Pleiadians tribute band however, check out the new CD from Filteria

they performed here in belgium just a few weeks ago, a short but more than interesting live set. Since it looks like they just bought new Macs and are working with all new software i think they just started a new project

Stayros what you heard lately in Greece was Etnica new album which is absolutely KILLER,guess we have to wait more for new Pleiadians since Max and Mauri are little lazy hehe.

Dear Detox,it wasn't the new album of etnica(sharp) because i have heard and this album.I heard pleiadians in a festival in pylio and i believe that it was a track from them because the style.I'm fanatic with these guys.
