Right then, first remix from us for 2012. Rough mix this, need to have another proper go at the mixdown and get it a bit louder, but here's a sample of the ideas we have in.
By the way need to mention the x0xing in this track Only one bit of x0xb0x you can hear in this short sample (there's more later on), at 1:20... the distortion is Logic's Guitar Amp Pro...surprisingly good for native software acid-like distortion, imo...until I get a ProCo Dirty Rat and the classic Boss OS2 pedals.

Maybe more resonance or tube distortion? At a pinch use chorus- 303 will get second live immediately.

I like it as raw as possible as far as modulation effects go for main lines. Hint of delay and/or tight reverb and that is it.

The bassline sounds abit to fluffy or something, i like your not that jumpy ones better. Sounds like you just got laid before u made it or something otherwise, great vibes!

I decided I am not happy with the kick and bass patches so I altered them slightly. That changed the vibe of the track....which had quite a bit of low mid, yet was not exactly happy with the bottom end...did not exactly "pulsate" in order to give one massive groove in the subs and get a nice defined "machine gun" feel...been spending all day mixing it down, will spend tomorrow as well and start taking to other people's studios, listen to it in the car...etc before I reach a final version.
