u need to listen mate... it's something special, Prosect's style, 120 bpm, something psychedelic, not minimal for sure... children called it psychedelic ambient, but i don't think it's an ambient :)

just check

boom!

well... i realy dont know how to call this style, free stlye/ambient/what ever :)
its preaty long (almost 15min) and i found something like 3 different story`s in the track.
i could notice that u put a lot of work in this thing. but i realy find a problem with the story.
about the kick... try to change it to a softer kick and a deeper bass line, in this way it will be more tech-dub style.
in the second that u started the melody it got a the track fliped in 180. i dont think it fits.
the beat... u got the same beat all the time, just in the end u put some 4X4... kinnda monoton, and there is a difference between monoton and minimal.
and imho in this kind of track u should bild the track slowly to a point where it got enough power to develop him self with the same idea without changing the the story.

but in the bottom line... i liked it :)

keep up man, u r going places :D

good review yossi,

about the different stories, you right there is a lot of them there... it's a long story why is that... i worked on it about a month (not every day of course). but the idea is to combine this stories into a one movie (let's call it that way), it's the Invasion of the aliens (by the way the voice "we came in peace..." is by me ;)).
the change of the rhythm (kicks) is came to make some difference, it's cool i think.

i also thought about: Invasion (Part 1) & (Part 2)
maybe... who knows

this time enjoy

more reviews please

forgot what i wanted to say, the main idea of this stories is that the track will not get bored itself and the listeners ;)

but by changing you dont get a better "movie"...

the track dont have its own continuty, the track needs a flow...

and maybe its a good idea to do 2 parts, its too long

Nice idea, good use of some samples (did you sample shpongle in there or am I wrong?)....

Replace all the samples for the percussion in the first part, maybe some hard distorted noise intensive machine like sounds instead (German techtrance percussion maybe, give it a tech-dub feel, like Yossi rightly said). You want an alien invasion, don't use acoustic drum samples. Keep it with the scary sounds and creepy samples all the beginning bit.

The second part didn't fit the first. The ending totally leaves the original idea. It starts as creepy and smooth and by the end of the track it's uplifting and edgy. Sometimes, creativity must be controlled in order to shine, but you don't use any control over the creative ideas and let them run free - and totally unorganized. You may want to use elements from the earlier parts and return them to lead later on, show them in a different light (Star Shpongled Banner is the perfect example of how to do it perfectly).

In short - if you rebuild this track while paying very careful attention to the structure, this could go a LOT further. Very talented work, very creative.

i think u also should try plaing with some jungle breaks... and put in more deep and fat bass line, it will sound much more "full" and u`ll get a better flow.

also think that the kick is too hard.
and the volume of the fx & melody is too high... its not the main thing... it sould b a groovy ambient/techdub track

but its only my humble opinion :)

For Blobb..

By deleting my posts you proved that you were wrong..

You are incapable of being a moderator..

I don't know why it is that you are so much against me..

Perhaps you should take a vacation of being a moderator and do something else.. until you can be a "good moderator" like the other moderators are in this forum..

For Prosect.. sounds promising..
