Hi,
I haven't been in this forum for 3 years now and I'm trying to find my old posts. I tried searching but it comes up with only a few of them. Can you help me? Do you think there might be gone from the database?
Thankx,
ss

Actually yes Absolut in the year 18930 you will be (in order to be gramatically correct lol) a member of this forum if this forum and we the users still exist at that date heh.I dont personally want to live so much to be honest.
Actually Atropa i was a member of this forum even before this database link that i gave above, when i first joined this place somewhere in 1998-1999 if i remember correctly there was not a Greek subforum and the members were much less but much more informative and easy to communicate with.
Indeed like you said these were the old good days where you could find online many respected artists and exchange your opinion with them and it was very easy to get informed about upcoming festivals and releases and although this community was much smaller it was much more interesting than it is today and somehow more personal.
We more or less knew each other (internet speaking ofcourse) and there were no fights between users,no double and triple nicknames spamming the forum,no countless label managers, djs and artists to promote themselves all the time,no bans and section removals, everything was great indeed and this forum was more like a familly or something where everyone respected each other simply because we knew more about each other since we were fewer in numbers.
Evolution has its ups and downs and although today the forum is much more easier to use function wise it is very difficult to control because of its countless members and very difficult to communicate with different people all the time.
Bigger is not always better indeed.
But who cares anyway about what i got to say about this forum.
Lets move on

i was browsing the forum i think since.. 2000 or at least 2001 i joined though in 2003 i remember the old days and i also remember the lack of movement and useful info around here.
but i must agree they all where known to each other and pretty much fine between them.
more people more problems but more info and fun.

More people more problems indeed but i doubt more info since in the early days all the info posted here was highly interesting, verified and sometimes even educational,in our days the biggest percentage of the info posted in this forum is garbage and just speculations and rumours or just spam and massive advertisment.
Like i said before less sometimes is better.
