For your first track this is excellent. Clean sounds, well mixed, interesting leads and interesting interplay with the percussion and bassline.

Bassline was pretty generic sounding, but not all the time- you added some good movement in it to keep it interesting and quality wise it was good. Kick sounded fine to me.

I would definitely play it at a party if you get the chance. It's always a good learning experience to hear your music on a large sound system. I think the best way to judge if a track is dancefloor appropriate is to play it at a party and see if people dance to it. I personally wouldn't play it just because of where the breaks are and how long they are- but I'm also incredibly picky when it comes to what I would play.

Keep up the good work!           http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

I wish my 20th tune was as well produced as this one!!! Solid overall production, kick + bass are made for each other and definetely play it in front of a huge crowd! They'll love it. If this is really your first song, I can imagine the rest... Keep it up dude!           www.myspace.com/antlabros

I like the musical part, and the rhythmical - you have a groovy tune, etc.
as of the sound and the mix,
I think you MUST read this article:
http://www.recoil.co.uk/editorials/sideline/area.html

this is Alan Wilder, one of the main Depeche Mode sound shapers. He's really well educated musically and technically (he's been working with synths since the late 70-s and up to now).

IMHO, give it a try, and tell me what you think.

thank for reply
Very interesting article,
¿you are saying that my track is to much compressed and without dynamic?

do you think I need to use less compression or less limiting?
ozone peaks at -10rms

i think the track is lacking bass, as in real deep punch whether from the kick or the bassline.. but then a lot of fullon is mixed the way this track is, i just like tracks with a bit more low end.

it also seems to like that hi-end shimmer to it as well, and sounds a bit 'dull'. maybe use better samples especially for hats, cymbals and stuff, as well boost a bit around 12k for them and snare..

I will try not to cut so much low on the bassline, and high freq on the Hi hats. And see what you are saying
¿do you think The sound of the bass is ok?
I think y EQ so much

thanks for advice

Really nice job man! And very nice to see people from Argentina here.
I wouldnt give you too much advices on the production part since im a beginer, but the song structure is pretty good and the sounds look polished.
Here with a pair of very cheap monitors sounds a little bit of lacking (low freq) as mquirk1 said.
Maybe a little eq boost or Waves RBass in the low freq?
Congratulations!
