A remix pack is usually a good thing. Even if I won't do a remix, it's always nice to examine what kind of elements others use to build their tracks. When there was the Hadra remix competition I reverse enginered the synths/leads of that Shotu track (planned to finish it as a full remix), and I learned some new things about synthesis and psy leads, which I can use for my future tracks.
