Hi Im sorry if the subject is a little confusing as may be my question since i dunno the term for this sound, but
its used in every track as like a "shhhhHHHHHHHH...silence....music drops" sound that fades in and gets louder and builds up and then the beat and everything drops back in i hope someone understands what i mean. i set up a note a bar long in piano roll but dont know how to fade it in, the way i do it is set up note after note and adjust the volumes for each one,for a build up but then if i dont adjust attack you can hear each note i just want a smooth build up shhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHH..... drop. sound.
so can someone please explain to me if i have to use automation and rerecord it live fading it in myself with a knob, or how do i get a bar long note from piano roll into edison to mabe fade in from silent to loud. or how do u people do it cause to me without that the breaks and drops sound just dead |

you can right-click on any button, knob, fader ect. and choose 'edit event' so you do not have to use live record mode to automate yourself..
the 'edit event' window also has a LFO tool which is pretty cool -check it out

you can also go to the top of the pianoroll window (where it is on velocity by default)..
scroll down there to channel volume.. and draw with the pen on the bottom half of the window your volume.

start with kick on every 1/4 and go up to 1/32, just draw your fast kickroll.
I think 1/32 exists in fl only in the piano roll..
and draw a simple velocity curve
