Hi All,

I need your ideas who made the below music or might you recognize it.. I have been searching for a music I had in copied cassette back in 1997, however I tried all the most popular ambient artists, but I still cannot find it. Unfortunately I do not have the music now or any info on the artist etc..

That was the most beautiful music I had. It started with tribal elements (1st track) then after a thunder sound then the 2nd track was a sequencer type music (like early Steve Roach, but much mid tempo and a lot darker). I remember there was a track also that had very deep bubbling bass also that was sounded like it comes from underwater.

The most standout track (and the one that I hope somebody would recognize) was a really slow piano and synthscapes in the background - it was really sad otherwordly sound and in the background there were children's laughing and there were sounds like somebody riding on bicycle.. they were on maybe a playground but it was like ghosts, and there was a slowed down altered (or vocoded) human shout (like an alien talking) and then the track became even more dramatic (it was like something tragic happened). It was the most beautiful track I ever heard, it was otherworldly but it had a uplifting dramatic feeling - the effect was something similar like liquid mind or thom brennan.. I never heard anything this beautiful like this.

If you remember this (or something similar track) or if you know anybody who makes similar music (it was made in the 80's or 90's) please let me know. I have been chasing it for years.

Cheers!

Hm. Have you searched inside releases by Pete Namlook? Or maybe Biosphere?

Let us know if\when you find what you are searching for, very curious... I have very recently started to explore ambient music of 90s and am very hungry for good music of that time           http://soundcloud.com/aedem

Dear Tamas,

The words you use to describe this lost piece of music evoke, for me, the Future Sound of London. Try perhaps the Lifeforms EP, My Kingdom EP, or Dead Cities. They are hauntingly beautiful, alienified tribal, and there are piano keys in some tracks.
