I always give my files Numbers, as first time saving: "messed_up1.cpr" and so on.
This way I can go back to every earlier version of the song, If I really messed up something or feel like I took a wrong direction and other stuff. Or, in your case, the file has an error.
just a tip for the future 
btw. also backup your files, at least on another harddisk or *insert your backup device of choice*, it's realy worth the work.

Yeah me too.
Like Track01-00-00-01, so u can save always to new file and u can make dif. versions also.

you're not the only one, i almost freqed out once because of that but no one give me straight answer so i think its maybe bugs.
and from now on try to create copies of your work every _ min. or so.

if that dont work..
check if u have all ur audio files if they are curropt also
u can just re-arrange the song then
i did the same thing and i was bummed about it
i lost a whole sequence to a track on Cubase by pressing ctrl S

Hey CHP,
One time someone told about autobkp of FLP files on Fruity Loops, we looked all Fruity folder for check the files and never saw... Try check the file system on FL Studio folder to seek for bak files or something like that. Or try rebuild (re-install) all the VSTs that you use in your file...
