SuperGlue, stop living in paranoia
i said "so called" live sucks (imho)
you cannot tell me, like you cannot tell others, to repect it, couse i DO NOT LIKE IT !! (and maybe others dont like it too)
from today keep your remark of "giving respect" to yourself, i suggest you start to respect other ppl before telling other ppl to give respect !

I have been one friday at a party where the
artist played very Live!
I mean with drums, electro guitar and a synth.
With a heavy distortion on the drums and the
guitar they sequenced live the instruments!

It was a very jumpy tracks, I liked the style!

SuperGlue , i didn't say anything about your
specific pc ,
u just takin' it too personal .
btw , my computer sucks , it's 350mhz , but i use
it for midi only , so it's enuff for my needs .
Sometimes when ppl feel the need to say stuff
about things that nobody asked (nevermind if it's
somethin' negative or positive) it's called
"offtopic message"
so we trying to say stuff like that in most gentle way
without kick or snare nobody .

EZ

Peace.

i think that playing live is the oposite from studio playing where u have the option to correct and record your stuff for mastering.
in live shows the show is the improvisation that comes only once in your life (like in jazz) and thats the real live experience!

The best live I can do, is to play a CD with my
tracks and add sounds (under heavy effects)
from my MC-505 or from my Nordlead (1),
Simple mixing and parallel sequencing with the
same BPM!

listn dudes thats how u can make live electronic u tack all of your tracks (all the wav u mixdawn after u finsh to mix all your midi )and mix down them agin if you want to keep a few midi chanells for the live act you can do it make shure that all the wav files are on the same bpm and then u have abig one wav files which contains all your tarcks togather you all so have midi files which you can chenge them( the sound )with the midi control program change with that u can change the sound of the midi files which play whith the big wav files (which contains kick snares hihi etc)u dont have to bring 7 synth or 4 samplers the unic sound you want to play in the act mix in the wav files and keep allso severls midi chanells to perfom whith live synth btw u should go whith powerfull computer to avoid crash           TEN LA BA SHNEYTSOL

Demux , i prefer to "Live" without computer
or if i really need Cubase ,i can bring older computer
like the Atari ST ,(to avoid crash in 99% for shure),
about same BPMs and big WAVs it's somethin'
i can't understand.
Because of the midi's "timing" and all
today's new computer technologys it's almost
impossible to trigger long WAVs without any delays.
I think it's better to do some "shortcut" versions of
the tracks (midi only) with loops that play perfect
together .
So this way i can mix the tracks Live , as much
as i want , make them shorter or longer ,
and i have more control over
the arrangement and sound .

Live mixing/creation isn't such a hard thing!
If you are using pattern sequencer as a groove-box,
the job is a lot more simple.
As the patterns are playing, mix it with a crazy guitar sound
from your synth (which is playing also)!

That's it, with a groove-box, mixer, synth and
computer you can play Live, you just need to
take your time and learn to control the whole
station. As more instruments you will learn to
play and control, your live will be more Live!

Peace...

Ok , if i use a groovebox - i don't need a computer,
if i can send Type2 midi files to that groovebox and
groovebox can send midi data to 2 midi outs include
control/program changes and SysEx data ,
i can replace the computer with a groovebox .
What kind of groovebox can do those functionz ?

Btw , i already took my time to learn how to use my
instruments and to control the whole station ,
what i need to do now is to build a very stable
and modular station for "Live" work .

EZ ,
Peace.
