Don't you think trance artists should learn from Plastikman instead of the mega-violent techno?
We could use a bit of trippy undertones like Plastikman does in his best tracks.... or is it just me? |

I dont know , there must be a scene of techno in israel like there is trance.
I like his music and like us there are many others.

Richie Hawtin (AKA Plastikman) has been to israel twice in the past year and a half (both times haoman 17 - Jerusalem) and gave very good hard techno sets. might come again in a few month but you can't tell with the curent situation. |

yeas, he played very good on his second visit..
and about tekno scene in ISRAEL - its not exacly like trance scene, arie.. its much much smaller but 100 meter partys its realy fun, esspecialy their little events.. |

well people sorry as allways to ruin the fun but...
i liked the plastikman stuff he did but hawtin himself is the the reason why most techno done this days is just rubbish. he is a master of technic but in the years he has forgotten the heart and soul of music. hawtin was the guy who started making producers like ben simms and all the loopers big names in techno.
i had listened to his set at the sonar festival and 2 or 3 turntables EFX samplers and a laptop but it was pure rubbish full of distortion. he forgot the soul of music.
but i must say that his PLUS 8 label is superb. |
