Great track man! I love to hear fellow Canadians making music 
In the dark scene I like to hear more aggressive leads, like band passing some white noise like a crazy rabbit on mescaline with a lot of resonance (in the filter and in the mescaline ), which I think is missing here.
I also think could be some "normal" drums in there, like a hat on the 2nd beats and more crashed playing around.. This because your hat's rhythm sounds like someone spit them out and added delay, it's very confusing. While your whole track is confusing I think you should have something more under control, so the listener has something else to grab on to..
The drums also allow your music to dance, and the listener to dance with it.
