maximjou- this is a forum and we are here to discuss views/opinions whether good or bad.im so glad that raffi had the balls to say what he truly felt without doing the usual killarrghhh event/boom/PLUR bullshit which we all stick to.ahhhhh comnnn u dont like something speak about it. it wont make u a little girl - i assure you.

yes its abt the music but then the vibe is equally important as well. the energies that make up a party help a great deal in enjoying the music even more
And if you dont feel that way ur missing half the fun of a psy party.
i hope u get to go to a party where the energies are positive

and ofcourse we are not here to control who is coming to a psy event- its open to one and all.But its sacred to me and its upsetting to see what its becoming.
change is beautiful and its a part of life but i would rather not see it come to this.
and for these reasons & many more I will never go to a metaforce event.
khallas.

yeh im sorry. i didnt mean that people shouldnt express their thoughts about how it could be better and what could change .but seeing these posts about how it was promoted to ravers and how its all about drugs and and seeing previous posts about how metaforce is bad people is not right.

all you people at one time or another were on drugs and young. psytrance is not an angel. infact its not really that positive at all psy trance was made for drugs, funny if you disagree, it defenetly wasnt made for meditation lol . after reading the posts im all for change for the better but dont bash people is all im saying.

max i don't agree. do you even know anything about goa gil or who he is. how can you say its not for meditation. not everyone is close minded like you. certain drugs enhance meditation which is what psytrance is all about. Its active meditation.

@ love n light:: what balls? you dont even have the gall to say it on the face when someone hands you a flyer...you still want to be in your socially awkward groups and not attend parties and still give their reviews. It's disgusting to see this kind of ridiculous comment from you....especially from someone who calls herself a desi (and there were desis I was proud of out there - Ujjwal and everyone- big shout out to how all of you rocked that floor)...the psy scene is sacred to you then attend it for the music and not for your own ridiculous beliefs..

From my side, having been told in the beginning of my set that my wife was arrested i could have just stopped the music and let the 400 odd people out of there who still came and paid to dance their asses off. But I didn't..

At least, all those ravers (you talk about), they didn't bitch about it. The music
(including LAB and all the dj's) went as scheduled and rocked. Everyone i knew came up to me and asked if they could help...and i would publicly like to thank all those babies for their love...the spirit was obviously there!! I am proud to see everyone safe at the end of the day and feel for the 3 people who were taken in, along with my wife. I was there at the station to ensure they were ok and then headed back to ensure there wasn't another bust waiting to happen. Hell, i even made sure they weren't coming back for everyone present so that the arrests meant something and the party went on.

Skeeve knows as a promoter how it feels to take a hit when the arresting officer offers you a choice of either arresting you or the entire joint. The Wonderland crew didn't provide the correct security for the event which we paid for.

Inspite of all this, the event and the music went all until 6:05 a.m I heard an applause to see Rachel walk into the space. For us, it will always be an endless pursuit to promote this music and bring it to more people than ever. You think you are all whitewashed cos you are in trance. It took you a while to to get into it. It didn't hit you instantly like a hammer but slowly took over you. That is the process and it will continue to take place. About substances, you are the same people who jumped up and down on uppers before reaching your so-called status of a trancer(makes me laff loud)...well then, that is what i saw a bunch of kids discovering something new. THE ULTIMATE GOAL IS to KEEP it ALIVE!!! and some will be good and some bad...But we will go on!! join in or not...its all about the MUSICCCCCC!!!

BoMMM and KHALLLLLLAAAAAASSSSSS!!!

That was a good post vish.

I agree with lots of your points there about how those "kids" we're exactly like most of us at there age maybe just more respectful do to a cultural background, but it's all irrelevant to actual attitude.

But one who is so open minded must accept opinions Everyone has a place in an arguement to share views. Alright stuff could of been worse and some we're turned off by events(cops everyone I'd say) But that have room for improvment as an org. Simple changes like venue or simply telling bouncers to not let completely waisted people(especially minors) in the venue.

The whole "scene" thing is very complex in psytrance seeing lots of us come with diff backgrounds from diff countries(in some cases) and different values in psytrance. Age I personally don't see an issue seeing I started to attend psytrance parties 6 years ago when i was 15... Even grown men can act horrible.

Lab's music is great, Hope to see him back in nyc or whenever I go back on vacation to Portugal.

This party was quite the marathon, having to endure waves of positivity and negativity yet I am greatful for the event. The biggest pitfall was of course the cops showing out and dragging fellow partiers and one of the organizers out in hand cuffs AFTER doing random searches on people. Another con of the party is, yes, it was too crowded for comfort, the music was sweet but once your body fell into a groove and really got going, it became a mosh pit. It seems this party was done in the same fashion as the last one and the last party was a huge success in my opinion-ravers hoppped on pills and all. Most of the problem that I saw were shaddy-GROWN UPS-lurking around the party, drooling, falling into people and trying to sell me coke.
After the space cleared up a bit it was a bit easier to enjoy myself but it was difficult to know that one of the organizers and fellow partiers was spending time in jail just so we can continue to enjoy ourselves at an event that they worked so hard to provide.
Thanks to Jonathan, Metaforce, LAB, Artemis some of the Wonderland peoples and all the wonderful psy-friends that warmed my hearts and me and Ben's home afterwards I hope all party organizers can find a way past the waves of party gestapo that have been crippling the scene lately. Good luck and many blessings

P.S.- Hopefully after the bashing has commenced we can indulge on pictures or videos? Anyone?

I was not at the party so I cannot speak about any of that. I just wanted to say that when a promoter makes the decision to throw a party in a venue such as wonderland, they take a huge risk by making the party 18+. Not only are you dealing with the issue of possible underage drinking at your parties, but because they are young, you inevitably will deal with some kids (not all) who just don't know any better, some who just don't care, and others who are just out to party irresponsibly, such as those Rachel mentioned above.

I have been to a few mixed genre wonderland parties over the years and remember when everyone was responsible enough and respected the promoters and the venue owners wishes for attendees to remain inside the building and not call attention to the entrance. As a result, I can't remember police ever entering the premises of the venue.

I understand your desire to attract new individuals to psytrance, just be careful not to chase away the older trancers who may not want to spend their time partying with kids.

Keep the parties [in venues such as this] 21+ and maybe you won't run into this issue again.

dear Rachel, i never ment to hurt ur feelings.. i was surely upset a lot that u got to go to jail.. i felt it is uttery ugly and unfair.. i felt bad for everyone went there.. i really had amazing moments at the party and i am as alwasy greatfull for that. i really didnt like a lot as well.. i also thought we are just expressing our views on it here. NOTHING PERSONAL. i never said that i would not come to your parties any more.. lol to me it sounds stupid if i woudl say such thing.. well its onyl to me.. only..
i have enjoyed your parties b4 and hope will in a future..
yes, i never liked to post at the forum cuz it often goes into lots of negativity..
i just felt unfair to express only what i loved about the party if it really had some strong unpleasant elements 4 me personally! thats why i added later on, otherwise it woudl be one-sided
but another parites will come.. we all learn from our experiences, isnt it so?
hopefully we all growing and developing
well, i wish everyone love and confidence in what they are up to!
peace love and light! ohm...

the risk for your kind information was clearly Wonderland. While it provided a great space for the event, their promises of safety and security of all the patrons in their club fell through when we had no SECURITY. As far as 18+ goes, I hear it all the time, when the new trance babies want to be included in the scene through 18+ parties.

I have owned and operated a nightclub and i know of risks, therefore there was no Alcohol served or sold at this event. There was zero security provided by Wonderland or its crew to ensure a smooth event. I take complete responsibility to trust the safety of my crowd in the hands of incompetent space owners. But, at the same time i have to ensure that in case of an emergency the safety and security of my patrons continues to exist inspite of any problems. Wonderland will not ever have any party or exist as an event space. But, we will throw parties in spaces where every single one attending our parties will be safe and secure and I don't care if it has to be clubs as long we transform them into jungles(with UV butterflies) or other environments.

The old trancers chase themselves away with this closed - minded attitude. Hell, i am an old skool trancer myself and i remember you high as a kite at my FREE new year's party, that you played at and you fell on the middle of the dance floor (talk about &$#CKED up kids on drugs). It's not about age and we all have been there and true trancer's/tranceheads/goaheads/psywalkers/raver's (whatever) always follow the music .....

So c'mon be there or be Quiet>>>don't talk about what you don't know...

Wow, kinda glad I didn't make it to this event (though I was really looking forward to it). Plenty of "raver kids" to dodge here in Phoenix.

Huge props to Rachel for taking the hit and allowing the show to go on. Hope the man didn't come down too hard on the Metaforce crew. Better luck next time.           "Every generation needs a new revolution." ~Thomas Jefferson
