Mandari there is softs that will do it all for you, like the free room eq wizard (not sure it work well on mac , would use a other one for mac ) there you can set best crossover freq for flatest reponse with taking measurments like you were mentioning but also get the phase of the sub aligned to the mains. |

i say i DONT produce with them cuz i dont use the for production at all anymore, just 2% or something..the other 98% i do with my good headphones, thing is studio room is very weird, weird ass structure all around me so i cant trust, i have the 2 speakers on each side of the screen and the subwoofer on top, but as i said i cant trust the outcome since my room is super weird and cant put them in anyother places so i dont have a choice i think :S, i just use them when i wanna BOOM some psytrance for recreative purpose lets say lol, or listening my tunes IF anyone is home. btw the 2% i use my Logitech set its only when im doing a bassline, and trying the kick + bass combo, adjusting the knob while the EQing is going on, that, plus the EQing i do on the headphones is the way i cook my basslines
