3DJAB are extremely excited to announce the return of the man who blew us all away at Rainbow this year.......

PIXEL (Hommega, Israel)

Featuring, from Israel, the man who rocked the Rainbow Serpent 2004 festival, PIXEL. Pixel will perform live and DJ, presenting his new album on Hommega records. One of the finest new school Israeli psytrance masters, Pixel, together with Domestic and Sub 6, has pioneered a new, fresh sound in psychedelic trance that has been rocking all corners of the globe.

Pixel is Eli Biton Tal, born 1979, living in the center of Israel. Eli discovered psychedelic trance music in 1997, after a few years of listening to different genres of electronic music such as techno, trip hop and breakbeat.
His favorite bands are: Depeche mode, KLF, Eat Static, Massive attack, Pink Floyd and Radiohead.
He started DJing in 1999 and began creating his own music in 2000. The whole thing happened very slowly, as he was taking it all step by step. In 2001 Pixel started to DJ back to back with Domestic, a successful collaboration which lasted 2.5 years. During this time, they made music together as Dual Head, compiled a very successful compilation- Think Sync- for Com.pact and toured the world extensively, playing in Japan, Brazil, England, Mexico, Germany and more. Eli says he owes the biggest thanks to Domestic, for teaching him how to make music from scratch. Even today Pixel and Domestic share a strong bond working tirelessly together in the studio.

His debut album- Reality Strikes Back- is due to be released later this year, in Hommega. He defines it as “all in one”, a combination of everything from dark night music, minimal progressive and full power dancefloor stuff.

good morning everyone - struggling a little today after a very very long weekend/sat night/sunday

First Congrats D-Mak - what an effort, again quality production, everything worked out perfectly as usual, you simply dont fuck around and dont take chances and because of this you create success.

Somatica crew - i made my up stairs twice very briefly just to have a look and say g'day. the place looked great up there, very spacious set up. Well done guys dn nice that this collaboration has been born.
(sorry i forgot the mini-bocce TD Shagga. (its sitting on my coffee table)

The venue - great place, beautiful building, steve is a champ as are all the staff and special mention to the bouncers - great blokes!!!!!

the decor - well done decor crew, the place looked amazing, lots of color everywhere, the silver manequins looked sensational. WELL DONE!!!!

the music -
Coombaya - as double helix said you are quality and your time will come. your mixing has come along way since that first time i heard you mix at doggies place, you are becoming a true proffessional and now with the ability to adapt to set times you have even further proven yourself - excellent stuff mate.

fridler - well i apologise for some of the mixing , i was a little out of sorts and just havent been listening to music that much of late, anyway i hope you enjoyed anyway.

pixel live - this guys music is fucking unreal, big and ballsy with lots of little tweaking sounds all over the place, a future (if not current) star of the scene and a true professional.

d-mak - WOW without doubt the best set you have played, maybe not as good as some over those back to back sets we have played at home but pretty damn close. your mixing was of the highest quality and you fit your set time perfectly, cranked it out minus any fluff which i know you love so much!!!!! you were techinically brilliant as usual, and thank god for sub 6 hey!!!!!

pixel dj - fucking "killa" set, wicked trax from start to end mixed with absolute fluent ease, this man knows his shit and knows how to deliver it!!!

the grudge match (benza vs morpheus) - well i didnt see any left hooks or roman grapples as promised but nevertheless you guys didnt dissappoint, cranked out some oldies and then brought it down nicely to finish everything and everyone off!!!

sound system - there is nothing wrong with the sound system there, it is more a design of the building problem, because of the way the room is set up it is hard to find that shweeeeeeeeet spot and the shweet spot is preetty small, i thought the sound was fucking good and clear all night wherever you stood just extra nice in certain spots, i certainly wouldnt be advising they go out and buy a new system.

bar staff - mmmmm very nice especially the blondie downstairs

the vibe, energy - the vibe and energy were unreal all night, smiling faces everywhere you loooked, everyone i spoke to was having a ball, nothing missing at all!!!!!

i think that'll do for the moment

WELL DONE 3djab and somatica!
