Is there anyone who has any tips and tricks on how to make a sample change pitch and tempo.

I have been wondering how to change the pitch of a given sample to give it the effect that it is speeding up. the idea would be to give the sample some ping pong delay that would speed up (along with the pitch increasing).

How can i do this...

Using Cubase or nuendo

you could also try acid 5 pro,
lots of pitchbending, timestretching, beatmatching, loop quantanization options.

but if i got you correctly: ping pong delay with pitchshift could be also accomplished by mod delay units: EchoTank XL for instance, and i'm sure there are many others.

in cubase sx you can draw pitch-curves on audiofiles. maybe there is an option to (de)activate simultaneous timestretching, check it out.

another possibility is the freeware-delay Retrodelay, it has a pitch-wheel: http://www.kvraudio.com/get/959.html           www.myspace.com/mentris
