well... what i want to do is:

i have a short sample in wav. is it possible to play on midi-keyboard with this sample with pitch-shifting, depending on the note played? what should i use for that - vst samplers maybe? which? haven't found such function in logic's instruments.

u can use pitch shifting , with the exs24 for ex , then make a automation in the channel using the transpose and or pitch

i tried but didn't find wav support in exs24

hum maybe its because of the version on 7.1 u can do it

but depends now if u want this sample with a diferent pitch bend , why not using sound forge or wavelab to do it ?'

because i want to work with it in matrix edit to make melodies
