anyone got any suggestions for good pitch shift plugins or stand alone programs? The cubase one just doesnt let me do enough (only rise to 1 octave) and i cant seem to find any good ones ou there?

By the way i mean doing things like a pitch rise, ot just changing the note

ableton has great pitch shifting possibilities, celemony's melodyne is a monster, wave's tune is worth looking at also.

however i use cubases engine for pitch shifting, you can apply 1 octave shifts numerous times btw.

I think Cubase will actually shift +-16 semitones ok not as much as Live or Melodyne but more than an octave

+1 to multiple passes... not only can you still get insane shifting very quickly but you can get a different feel by eg. doing 2 6-semitone pitch rises as opposed to one 1-octave rise.
