You should post some clip for what you mean. Anyway, you could put some kick through the Ohmforce Mobilohm multi-phaser in order to get a Mushroom-based kick for an amazing intro. Make a little automation and voilą!
Try the demo version available on Ohmforce website.

if you use cubase just make a group channel and connect it with the kick and the base and then use a filter vst @ the group channel and automate it..you can use the Q filter (simple one) or the the step filter, anters filter..

ok.. take for example the Q-Filter @ the channel where you have your kick and bassline and just press w (for write) and move the mouse with the hi - pass filter. (means you cut slowly away the bass) . when you think you have done it just press the R button for read. you can also se the in the project window @ the audio file the automation and correct it if you want! just try it out and play arround ..
good luck dude!           http://www.facebook.com/djkajola

It especially raises the level of frequencies that are boosted with high q settings. Lowering the volume is an option, but you can also put a compressor or a limiter after the effect.

Yo mate. Yeah, these filtersweeps are typical psystuff
Try out Sonalksis TBK. A great great resonant filter. Also try some distortion fx too. Makes it more badass!

I always use the Read (R) automation on these kind of things. It makes the sweeps a lot smoother. Search for automation in the manual, and you will see what I mean. Good luck

Thanks guys,as u know one thing leads to another then another and so on.and this gave me an understanding of how it goes hehe!I guess we can aply it to leads and synths don't we?do u know what i miss?a real good phazer i used to work it reason and it was simpler but it didn't sound so FAT in the end,on cubase it sounds real good everything comes out nice,it's just a matter of proper level placement,i'm really enjoying it“
Take care
