Pitch Black is Michael Hodgson and Paddy Free – two long time, sound manipulation artists from New Zealand who are playing SF during their world tour in support of their third full-length release Ape to Angel. Pitch Black is known for creating musical journeys from organic ambient beginnings and layered soundscapes to skanking keyboards, cutting acid riffs and thumping rhythmic grooves, with dub holding it all together.
