hi everyone, i have been using ableton and i love the warp engine, you can stretch a lot very easy, and do automated pitch bends, and i cant find tools like this in cubase 5, i know there is variaudio and process pitch with envelope, but i need more than 12 semitones in pitch bending, and variaudio doesnt get the results you get in ableton, please dont tell me to use ableton since i like it so much, i need to find the solution for cubase
Thanx |

If you need more than 12 semis then apply the pitch shift thing more than once
Cubase has another workflow, warping audio is possible. Maybe not as verstaile as in Live but it can get the job done. The envelope pitch shift is there and I like it pretty much, just assign a key command for that and apply it as much as you need it.
Cubase is a different beast. |

Thanx man that really helps, one other thing, if i warp and audio file to stretch it and after that i want to apply the pitch bend, do i have to bounce the warped audio first? or is there a way to bounce in place or apply process without bouncing? |
