worst party i have been to in a loooong time...
music was actually pretty good, location was decent... but the crowd, OMG... a bunch of 14 year old candy ravers... i felt so out of place....
shame on the promoters for putting on events to make money... why else would u have such a crowd... i mean i can deal with some candy ravers but that was just pathetic... and i know i am partly to blame i should have known cause it was 18 and over, but damn that was really extreme...
i am never supporting this organization again... |

there is a difference between old and mature...
i just can't relate to young people all messed up on E and who are on an extremely superficial level that is all... they have little respect and keep bumping into people all night long (most of them anyway)....and no need to point the finger it makes u look bad... |

As for me, the promoters are trying to bridge the gap between generations. I hardly know any collective that has lasted as a dominate force in a scene for more than 15 yrs.. We are getting old, having families, real jobs and life struggles. These kids have not, so their not on the level most adults aren't. But that doesn't mean they suck as human beings and we should ban them from the shows. They are the next psytrancers. We as elders need to guide them and teach them. They are really starting to love psy, that shows they are growing. I had a great time at the show, even though I feel old at 38. But I was 18 too once, and I'm sure some adults said the same thing about me, and look what I've done in the scene today. Most of them aren't around anymore. So, BIG UP to Micheal Liu and everything he has done for the scene in the last 16 yrs! Bom |
