It's nice to have so many brother and sister pisceans that are so creative. Happy B-Day to all of you. This will be the first time seeing the "Vib", I hope they play a few classics! A big shout out to Micheal for the effort and for throwing us a great B-Day Party. Let the good times ROLL.................. |

It's hard for me to make it down to Southern California as much as I used to. I have a 9 year old son and 4 year old daughter so on the weekend's that I'm not booked to DJ, I tend to stay home with them.
But who knows, there seems to be a lot of activity coming up for the summer...

If you can, you should come down for the Green Sector outdoor at Woodley Park on the 16th. 
By the way, though the name doesn't give it away, this is Steven... if it rings a bell, the guy who's taken a bunch of pictures of you at Neo Sapiens parties recently(which you asked to use for promo stuff). |

I think Vibrapshere visited in Oct last year and didnt seem psy or goa to me.
Am I confusing him for someone else? |

Vibrasphere is not your typical "psy" or "goa" and I hesitate to categorize it as either. If you listen to their older stuff, they are totally psy, and very very progressive minimal psy in a lot of cases, I suppose you could call it goa. Over the years, they've become more and more melodic, which I feel is where they excel the most. They're newer stuff ranges from downtempo tech grooves, melodic trancey downtempo, all the way up to some legitimate progressive psy around 138-140bpm at max.
They recently released an album entitled "Selected Downbeats Vol. 1" which is actually a mix of downtempo dub inspired trance and tech... and very pleasant listening music (not to dance to).
They're very diverse artists, but throughout all of their music, they maintain the basic song structure only found in the psy genres, and clearly have psychedelic tinges to their music in all instances. |
