I would like to know about the first projects there.
Who they are and when they start.
And any info about the beggining of the scene there will be welcome.

One of the first projects that I heard of was Bent Sentient on Alchemy's "Electrum".

I think the first wave of artists to put SA on the map were guys like Shift, Broken Toy, Damage, Protoculture, Rinkadink, Artifakt etc...

Trance first made it's way to South Africa in the mid 90's, and since I only got into trance in about 1999 I can't really speak with any authority about it's origins but I'm sure there are some other people who can shed some light on it.

Yeah.....Tundra is right about the first wave of artists.

Dude....i have been there ALMOST from teh beginning.

Man....its been a ride!

Its my life!

I think it was the Logo's crew....Patrick at his posse that had it going. In teh early 90's.

I started going in '94.

So this was when Alien Safari and Vortex were starting out.

The Club Logo's was the first i thinks.....then Getafix and Afrogalactic Cafe . Club wise.
