The CMX-3000 is made in Malaysia and is of much poorer build quality than the 5000. The 3000 has some features that you may find useful that the 5000 does not have, yet I have been using a 5000 for quite some time now and none of the DJ's I know who have used it have had a problem. The 5000 is a far superior unit in my view, being made in Japan, excellent build quality, smooth jog-wheel operation, very reliable. Buy the 5000. It's a much better quality unit. But if you need the extra features of the 3000 take the risk. |
