woooo USB dj'ing
finnaly! no scratched cd's! no cd cases! the future is here , but im sure it gonna take a while before i throw my cd case out the window hehe
also looping and shit.. seems nice
but like any pioneer cdj i wanna touch and play it before i say anything , if the jog is like in the 200's its pritty much useless

whats wrong with the jogwheel of the 200?
400: more fx more loop functions. Sounds good to me. Would like to toy around with it! |

personly i dont like the jog of 200
it keep spining after i leave it
maybe just too used to 100's but had great fun on 1000's too and not 200's , sure its personal but i have few freinds agree on that... cant wait to test this one's for sure , if its all that , should be leading in the scene

i think the jog wheel on 200's is great, and the one on cdj 1000 sucks, - it's definately a matter of taste

I like the wheel on the 200, because it's really sensitive.
I kinda have to watch myself if I'm doing an effect with the wheel and and turn it off quick, cause yeah the wheel will keep spinning and nudge the play speed slower or faster.
I wish the 200 had loop length * 2, instead of just being able to divide it by 2. I wonder how the looping is on these 400s, cause it looks like it has little + - buttons on the beat loop. |

The + button doesn't do what I want it seems, it will only make undo loop division to it's original loop length again after you push -.
It's sweet that you can send MIDI out to a DAW though, wow. |

thats pritty cool , hehe , in somewhat way hardware try to imitate the softwear
i guess all computer dj's can feel the superior now huh
soon they will also make the "sync" button on the next cdj and then all the "old-school-is-the-best-school" peaple who say its not legitimate button.. hehe i wanna see u not touching this one when its there
all in all , for who dj with program , this is totally ridiculus machine here , it have loops WOW big fuckn deal , like tracktor and ableton not doing that 3-4-5 years , and send midi clock as well to sync with pther program or synths.. only yhis machine is way more expensive then computer , tho it still nice no need for cd's actualy , again , imitate and intigrate with softwear and the new millenium technology
btw i also rather cd's and jog to play with on stage .. but need to be aware to the tehnology available all the time and not be close minded for anything , and personly i think its wonderfull that there is sync button that allow u to think more of the mix itself on what parts and use more filter then start match the beat , i might move to laptop dj'ing very soon when i think of it like this www.sattelbattle.com

Allready been done on the cmx-5000 and also on the cmx-3000 if im not wrong, and it sucks!
And looping on cd isnt really a new thing dude,
its been on cdj's since the 500 edition.
Must be like 10 years or something. Long before any traktor or ableton. |
