As the story goes .. Pink Floyd is the most brilliant band to have existed in the history of rock/classic rock .. Ive never heard anything else like them, with the exception of the Roger Waters solo albums .. which I think surpassed some Floyd albums in quality ..
So, we have a haldolium version of "One of these days" and an Oforia remix of Welcome to the machine .. which IMO is a bad remix ..
are there any other psytrance versions of other pink floyd songs ? let me know thanks :) |

Not that I know of, but there are a few ambient/dub remixes by The Orb which are pretty good, I can't find the CD I have them on for the name, and I don't know what they were released on, but if you're on Audiogalaxy or something do a search for "pink floyd orb" and you'll be set. |

kinda O.T. but, there's that hallucinogen track 'synthesizzler' which starts off with some sampled sound from a dark side of the moon track, kinda warped screaming voices-y thing...... |

i gotta agree pink floyd r the best. the orb`s d is called dark side of the orb or dark side of orb and if u realy like pink floyd u wouldn`t want to hear it. believe me. there is also a track with a sample taken from goodbye blue sky ...... `look mommy the snow cleared up in the sky` but it also sucks... any tampering with perfection it ought to b less than perfect isn`t it? |

bernoli .. I agree with u 100 % .. Pink Floyd is brilliant .. and most attempts to copy them would be disastrous .. even rock cover versions of their songs have been disastrous .. i.e. the another brick... cover in The Faculty soundtrack, the tool cover of Comfortably Numb .. Oforia`s version.
The only good one Ive heard is the one by Haldolium .. but haldolium is brilliant too
any more suggestions? |

Check out Out of Phase - Dark side of the moon 2001...
it's an pretty good attempt to remix DSOTM. nothing can beat the real thing though. |
