Rain,
I picked up a copy a couple months ago from Evan.
Truly epic!
I most appreciate music that is both emotionally and intellectually involving.
Several tracks are technically mind-blowing in terms of complex time signature changes and rhythms.
PS Do you remember meeting a few years ago on the way home from Fusion? You gave me a mix CD called Firedance.

This debut was a huge surprise for me...
(Because the artist lives in the same area as me, I kind of expected "local" quality and didn't realize how world-class it might be...)
It's a MONSTER HIT!! An absolutely MASSIVE album with DEEEEEP tribal dubs, vocals, sonic panoramas. Jaw-droppingly good, it sucks me in everytime.
By track 3 i find myself thinking "there's NO WAY this could get any better!!" and it just builds and conintues...to my disbelief...
A standing ovation for this album...

Hey Brett!! knew you'd love this one!! Great to see more and more people getting into this album. I really believe ~Rain is the next Mr. Posford!! It seems as though many people have been trying to re-create the shpongle sound, but this album somehow goes further and wider in many, many directions - all at the same time! People, please support this artist and buy this cd - you won't be disappointed.

Four months have passed since I´ve bought the album and I´m still listening to it every single day. I don´t get tired of it. My favorite release of 2004. |

Good luck.
Looking forward to it.
Your first album is in my top 10 ambient list especially when you use lines similar to hallucinogen & OTT but also like other original sounds in it. |
