i managed to get my ear on an early copy of the upcoming Phuture Primative release, SubConcious coming out on Waveform Recirds(in september).
dark but fun dub with massive psychedelic territories, and seriously driving basslines.

i saw him (rain) perform live in san francisco with bluetech & shakatura 2 months ago, and it was totally gripping.

Wow! Just checked the samples and very much like what I hear.. Only I have found that if you add the $18 international shipping tax its gonna cost me over £20 for one CD !! Does anyone know if this will be available elsewhere ie saikosounds or psyshop for normal amounts?? Please let it be so as this sounds like a quality release!! |

Hi Rain, see if SaikoSounds/Psyshop can distribute some copies of the album, they have been a great source and the cheapest ($). Ordering goods from the USA takes forever, and postage is a lot!!!

This just hit the doormat yesterday, and I have had it on ever since... I simply cannot believe what I am hearing!!! I knew from those samples that this really was something special, basically at last something that I can say is better than Shpongle or Ott... (which is a mighty acheivement)!! Every serious psychedelic chill lover will be totally blown away by this, everyone should listen to this wonderful, sumptuous, delicious dripping/tripping album that I haven't quite absorbed fully yet... Cheers Rain for providing us all with this masterpiece, maybe I'll do a review soon after I have recovered from my initial shock...!! |

I bought my copy yesterday in San Francisco. My friends, what a great surprise. Very powerful and psychedelic, just what I was looking for.
The American artists are producing great quality music, now I'm just waiting for Waterjuice's new album.

And I agree. There are some quality acts coming from North America these days. Not long ago, I was hard pressed to find domestic stuff I liked. It's nice to see that changing.
