Phonocol introduces us to a great compilation including full on psy trance tracks and some more clubby tunes.

Tracklist
01.Astrix And Atomic Pulse-Noise freak
02.Zorba Featuring Chicago-Into and through the vortex
03.Yahel-Tribal maker
04.Xerox And Passenger-Free zone
05.GMS Featuring Chicago-Crack the whip
06.Panick-Soul calibur
07.Lish-Electric
08.Mr. Trinity-Twin
09.Ultima-Deck lizard
10.Infected Mushroom-S is here (Yahel remix)

The opening of the cd takes place with a very good track from Astrix and Atomic Pulse which is a real killer on the dancefloor. After that we find Zorba And Chicago with a good clubby track which though sometimes gets a little repetitive.Next we have Yahel with a track already released in his Private Collection EP,average track with a nice ending. Then we have the big dissapointment of the cd,Xerox and Passenger probably two of the best Israeli artists of all time had used us to high quality and originality tracks like Science Is God but here everything went wrong,Free Zone is a bad track without anything noticeable in it except the fact that it managed to dissapoint almost everyone that listened to it.Gms And Chicago try to lift us a little bit up after the previous dissapointement with what proved to be an average full on track.Continuing on we find two very nice tracks from new artists like Panick and Lish who will certainly develop to something really good in the near future,Lish has already released his first personal album Dejavoodoo which was really good.Mr.Trinity and Ultima also appear in this compilation with two very nice tracks that are ideal for home listening mostly,i very much enjoyed Deck Lizard.Finnaly we have a remix on S Is Here from the well known act of Infected Mushroom from Yahel Sherman,a verry clubby approach to the track that worths listening. The cd has its ups and downs but in general lines its a very nice release from Phonokol that certainly worths owning it.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

Again ?! not another album with
kinda old tracks that have been around for some time now! Do we really need it?! Yahel?! Does he really belong in
that album?
I dont know whats going on , but nothing much in that album, thats for sure.

i think Panic - Soul Calibur is the most interesting here together with Noise freak by Astrix & Atomic pulse...the rest is ok, but not to exciting

a dissapointing comp, both the first and the second.
a nice selection of tracks, granted. but the editing, the mixing and the mastering have been found wanting in many terms. also, lack of details on the artists, tracks and liscencing info, as far as i can remember, at least on the first one.
it seems to me phonokol are simply churning out comps to ride the success of AP and the Retro CD (Vol. 1, the second one sucked, ergo, another comp for the trend-riding). also, another example: psychedelic blonde - a tribute to swedish trance, or somthing of the sort. not exactly the sort of things i would like to have on my CD collection...           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. We See Things As We Are" -Ancient Chinese Proverb
