i was wondering latley how come i get every week about 5 sms's for parties, from productions crew i never heard of and ppl i never met.
never in my life have i gave my phone number to anyone in order to recieve party promotion.
it seems like my phone number got on some list.
since some ppl put everyone they have the number of on the list or somthing like that.
this issue is becoming annoying,
first of all my phone number is mine for my private use, i dont need it to be filled with SPAM which prevents me to get the sms's that i wanna get.
the fact that people trade lists for money or for fun is super un-polite
im trying to figure out a way that i will fight this and i will!
my reccomandation is for party promoters is to create theyre own list and not take numbers of ppl which are not interested and abuse them, for me its SPAM.
also, how would they know im not one of the "blue ppl" ?
or they just dont care if they come to visit them...maybe thats the case.
anyone have thoughts about this?
or am i the only one that sees this is SPAM?
p.s
i know this dont sound p.l.u.r etc....but it does annoy me so sorry if i hurt anyones feelings

make a fake phone lists and sell it to org. hehehe , fill it with all the peaple from the past u hate and wish to annoy them little bit LOL
organizers! - just take in mind for many peaple its realy spam and u have 0 control over who come to your parties , dont want the peaple to cry "faces" or to get shut down? here is no.1 rule to start with ; make your own lists and make sure u know who is in it , and that they are intrested to get your sms evry other week/month
personly i care less there is 3-4 productions i allow to send me the sms and i get about 10 a week , sometimes more annoying (when out of israel for example)

I'm also get few weekly SMS from "new" productions, but personaly I don't see it as SPAM, just delete it and thats all. |

have you tried to reply them with an sms that says - please remove me from the list because i am not interested?

still all friday i got few sms from dark/fullon party productions,that i not going more that year

it dosnt work, i didnt only msg back i also called back explaining that i dont live in israel for the last year and that didnt help either.
i guess next time ill just have to invite my car mechanic and kiosk ppl to those parties, they allways ask me for details and i keep it "underground" but i guess those ppl that sms me without knowing me dont want it "underground"
so i will help them with that, there are many ppl that dont hget invited to parties that will be happy to get info about those events.

thanx oran, i guess if i had a 3rd generation phone i wouldnt be suffering from small sms inbox like in my 7 yrs old nokia....
ill ask the production crews to buy me one and ill stop complaining
anyway fortunatly , my crying and bitching worked and my phone is silent for the last couple weeks....i think i done the impossible :> |
