Oh ya, this is it. We are going to jump into the fire and purify ourselves through trance music. On the longest night of the year, we will bring in the Winter with glad hearts and happy feet. The lineup is a perfect array of light and dark throughout the trance

Me and Billy just got done making our set and man, it covers alot of different sounds. We'll take you from the night vibe to the morning vibe by stripping down the dark sound and slowly adding melodies. This should be fun. |

Oh ya, what fun we had on this festive night . The deco was top notch with both Andrea's string art and Mindseye Tony's fabric work, Mr. Roger's psychedelic flowers and the Phoenix Family tapestries, the place looked out of sight. The started off great with lots of people showing up early to hear Saturnia rock the joint ( or should I say vapo bag ). Spook got the place screamin with his swami theatrics and great music. Hair flyin and beats pounding, he gave them all he had. Spyro's was up next and brought the house down with a sickness. The L.A. posse was in affect and the dancefloor was raging. Konflux jumped on the decks and delivered a dark yet groovy set with a few of his own tracks thrown in. It sounded deep and bassy with a twist of madness. Psychoz had a little trouble starting out. All was well after he got his wits about him. Me and Billy came on last and threw down a very eclectic set with a range of sounds that took on a magical journey threw space and time. Funky full-on with a dash of goa. The upstairs room was fully delivering the goods with some of the best psychedelic breaks and wonderful vocals on the planet. Truely a great send off for the year with us, your hosts, The Phoenix Family. |
