						| point 1: would you say you like artists putting in philosophical liners in tracks???
because only today i was listening to one of the tracks and it felt like wisdom was pouring, although i liked what he said but the idea of it all together made me uneasy i mean what if he played that in the middle of a party and freaks on psychotic substances heard, it must have stayed with them for a long long time unconciously!!!
is it a good thing to do that.. you make us listen to your music not what beliefs you have no matter how good or bad!

 point 2:
aight aight.. my idea of some cheap thrill here!!!
what lines would you use if you were an artist while making a track..

						| those samples and lines can be fun sometimes, especially if you know the movie or where it has been picked up from. like the ones used from 'waking life' keep reminding me of the movie and what has been said in the movie. I love the collecctive memories sample used by chilled c quence.
Im not sure I would go deeper in to a vocal sample, its just a sample, just gives some structure to the track... though I dont like it when these lines are forcibly placed in a track, where they couldve also done away with it.
Nothing is said that has not been said before. |

						| well I had an emotional experience with "Juice" by GMS because first I saw the movie and then heard the track. I got goosebumps back then but this has nothing to do with philosophy @Iono_Music http://www.ionomusic.com/

						| i would never see or know of the waking life music if it wasn't 4 eskimo putting "hey are you a dreamer? haven't seen so many around lately......" and i had already eared the fun ruls, and all the others,

i already liked, the one in pump fiction "i woke up one morning and tought, i'm no longer a destroyer i'm a means of resurrection" because is a great in your face to the green peace people, that shout that we are destroying the planet, when all we really do is change our habitat as we know it, because after all if whatever destroyed the dinosaurs didn't destroyed the planet and his fauna&flora what is pollution going to do beside wipeout the human specie? and they say they care for the planet.... ok then as long as it is about the planet, for me is all about the plants... they give me something to breath and i try not to give garbage back to them, garbage on the floor only in citys, after all it's not like is still a beautiffull grass plane where they already trowed in roads and sidewalks, when they have jeeps and shoes.

the long post is a yes to a philosofical lines in tracks!!

						| I hate samples from movies in tracks. Also if an artist wants to push there agenda with music, thats fine. You dont have to listen to it. For christ sake Psytrance is a political statement without words anyhow! |

						| Not very fond of samples in tracks per se.. but some samples are fun, case in point being some twisted vocals like Linguistic Mystic by Shpongle or even Eskimo- Party Pooper.
I would like to incorporate some prayers or some shanti vibes in tracks I produce. Bring it back to nature.

						| i think there's a time for philosophy and a time for music..it doesn't really matter to me, some samples put into songs may just be homage to good speakers from the artists.. |

No it isn't, they don't really care about you or your music. Politicians don't care about psytrance at all other than the opportunities of oppressing any kind of drug use. There isn't much political rebellion in any music.

						| For me, the music is a philosophy by itself, I dont need Zigmond to talk in the background of the track....
But I may try that if Ill find some decent sample

I don't know that psytrance is more political than any other kind of music, but I do know that (job titled) politicians are not the only people involved in political evolution and thinking. -we all are to some extent.
