I went to listen to Philosomatika and can find no trace of it anywhere online. After a little googling, it seems the station, website, fb group, etc. all disappeared sometime in August. Anyone know what the scoop is, and if it will be coming back any time soon?

wow, i've been wondering about this too. i used to listen to them all the time, then suddenly.....silence.

Yes we did, and it was Good. Alas, it is also No More. I listened to them waaay back (10 yrs ago?) and it went Dark (as in nada, not as in ... you know). It was great.
As far as I know, it disappeared some years back. I made a number of attempts to re-connect but they all failed. It might have resurrected on and off or something. YMMV.
It was early, and it was great.
Check out psyradio.fm, it's pretty good, though it seems to drop the connection on a regular basis (on purpose, I think). If you stream it via vlc (supported) it stays connected. |
