Does anyone know if there are any sort of psy or psy like events in Philly? Coming to ny is fine but it's not practical on an everyday basis. I heard about a monthly run by
gaian-mind and i was wondering if anyone had any info about what their parties are like or if there are any others. Thanks.
p.s.Im willing to expand my horizons beyond psy to any sort of interesting, creative electronic music.

These monthly parties in Philly run by Gaian Mind are quite small. They usually take place in some bar or club, which is booked for the night by them. A guy named Allen or Allan helps organzing these. I went for one when I was studying there. There were about 30-40 people. Was very progressive music, hardly psychedelic at all. Decent vibes and good people, but a bit too small and music too slow for my taste!  |

suddenly, your right.
im still trying to build more interest in the kids around me at the upenn campus. then i plan on possibly throwing something down over here. I think alot of ppl at a campus like this would benefit from some real music instead of the crap they normally listen to. Lots of israelis, indians, europeans here already so it could work. . .

Onnomon (Soular Recs) lives in Philly, too. He completely destroyed our brains at Burning Man. Probably my fave US artist at the moment.
He should have his debut album out sometime in the spring, from what I hear. |
