Hi all, I am looking for some opinions, tips and criticisms on this track I've made recently. It's a dark full on psychedelic track at 146bpm, made in the style of south african or increasingly Montreal psytrance.

I would really appreciate any comment! Thanks!

that's really good man, nice bassline, i like the panning on the hats at the start. some nice leads in there, got a nice sound to it. i liek the noises that come in round 2:15, makes me want to party a fair bit haha. can't comment too much on the mix am listening on crappy headphones but sounds okay. i ain't the hugest fullon fan but thats pretty wicked, its got quite a racing vibe to it if ya get me. keep it up definitely!

Ok, so dish. What'd you use to produce this?

I like how clear your open hats are.

A small touch more distortion or something on your leads might sound good. Really like the panning you're doing with the beats.

This is going on my mp3 player.

Cool, Ableton? That's what I'm using too.

Do you render stuff to audio, or just keep midi tracks for your vsts? I find my stuff is getting so complicated I have to render to audio.

My computer can handle vast amounts of vsts and fx, I used to freeze or bounce audio, I don't need to anymore.

I don't like to bounce or freeze unless I have no choice, because changing the midi pattern slightly becomes a pain in the butt.           Peace Love Unity:

it's cool. the kick is really loud for me though so i can't get my mind to stray away from thinking about how loud the kick is every time it hits.

The kick sounds a little too harsh and present to me. Apart from this: good work in a technical matter.

both. the kick sounds very "kicky" and quite good, but kicks a little too loud. More in the second track, less (but still) in the first one. But thats just my humbly opinion.
