Dos Anybody know what ever happen to this fantastic act?
they released a couple of fantastic tracks and the it was the end or ?

PHAT CONTROLLERS
In 2002, after many hours of writing music together, Tristan Boyle and Dennis Fredericks formed Phat Kontrollerz. Both Dennis and Tristan have brought something unique into the project. Dennis has had more than his fair share of listening to techno and house, while Tristan brought his taste in jazz, and psychedelic trance. As a result, a comfortable middle ground was reached. A progressive sound that is sure to please an audience who like it deep, hard, funky and phat.
Phat Kontrollerz recently release a track on the Melbourne owned, Zenon records.
Dennis Fredericks originally played piano at school. From main stream dance, a taste in techno developed. And for the past 5 years Dennis has had intermittent gigs, spinning records from his absolutely gigantic collection comprising of names such as Cari Lekebusch, Marco Carola, Adam Beyer, and Jeff Mills.
Tristan Boyle started his career on recorder in primary school. The years to follow saw piano, alto sax, composition and lots of theory come into focus. It wasn't until 1998 that the first track was completed with the intention of it being performed. He saw two tracks released in 2002 and is hoping this trend will continue. Tristan has been influenced by Infected Mushroom, Simon Posford, the Melbourne trance scene and by several different jazz artists and styles, to name a few.

Tristan boyle from phat kontrollerz is still making music...and its fucking incredible. I will be releasing some of his stuff on Zenon in the not too distant future. Some Phat Kontrollerx stuff too will be released on zenon, although im not sure that they are continuing to make new stuff as i think Dennis is taking a break.
