Im with both Colin and Co-codamol! Everything has its place...
So could we say that for timetravellers pics that the negative value of the polarity is just more in terms on amplitude.. nothing more nothing less?

The 2 screen grabs appear to have different levels of zoom. If you are concerned with phase you can use a phase scope or listen to a mono sum of the master output.
Waveform rendering is not absolute and don't always update correctly. It is worth bearing in mind that they are created from the code and not from the actual audio that you hear post converter.
