i understand,at the moment everyone seems to be playing 'upbeat' chill which is ok if it only gets play ed at certain moments,i hope to doesn't get to a stage where it's constant upbeat bpm in chill out area cos then it isn't a chillout anymore xx

I understand that SOMETIMES it´s ok that it goes ´´upbeat´´, like in Trancendence for instance, the last day, chill out becomes the main floor , everyone sleeps, than go home the next morning. ok.

But during a party, if there are a lot of djs, who are not playing at the party, going to the chill out to play TRANCE, then it is bad for the other djs, who were hired to play AT the main floor. Then the party has 2 main floors, none of them are quite full, specially if one is playing full on, and the other prog.

One thing is to have 2 MAIN FLOORS ( 1 full on , 1 prog hehehehe ) , AND ONE chill out.

Another thing is to have good djs , having a nice set, and another dj who was not hired to play ´´ kinda competing `´ with his music , at the chill out. It´s just bad for the party , I think.

and for the chill out too, cause chill out is chill out, it´s NOT a dance floor.

          we´ll get there...
Vai dar tempo....

I've just checked in my Beginners guide to psychedelic enlightenment.

It states in 'Chapter 3 - The party', that there should EXACTLY 4.137 hours of "chill out" time at every party you attend.

hehehehehehehehh LOL

People , please, MY OPINION, is that there should always be a chill out !!!!!! always !!!!!

IN FACT, there should be chill out parties !!!!!!

but here in Brazil, as you all know, the thing is only in the beggining , so... we still cant do that...

but my personal dream is to have something like THE BIG CHILL here , in Brazil..

If I had enough money, I´d build a lounge bar !!!!!!

ciao !!!

I dont there is anything wrong with a bit of dancing in the chill out area -as there is so much freedom in what you can play (and I would hope chill out areas never go the way of main stages in how narrow the range of music is) - its nice to have different music played. If this gets a bit more upbeat at the right times - then great - but keep the trance to the main floor please!

Chill-out - is the place from other space!
there is no bom-bom-blowing-out-yor-brains - chill-out - is the place where you summing up all the experience you got!
But i mean not pop-chill-outs... real psychedelic chill-outs with very strange and amazing music... pads & atmosphere sounds with hidden sense. Interested? Check Sounds Of Belovodie...

Well how could one resist to dance on tracks featured for example on Youth in Dub, 13th Moon, or Electr'Oriental Delight and so many others ??

I think anyone found dancing in the chillout should be removed by security.

There are people at these parties who are dancing about, feeling far too free, and this kind of behaviour can only lead to disorder and erosion of respect for the law.

I've been told that some of them are "high on drugs" but I have no proof of this.

...and these are the lines from the guy who made "Sommersettler"

I would like to see you leaving your decks and to shout at a dancing guy (girl) like : "ehmmm come on, please chill out, your behaviour is very insane, please sit down and don't move any more. Thank you very much ! -big smile and back to the decks-"
