THE QUESTION I HAVE IS QUITE SIMPLE BUT I COULD NOT FIND ANY INFO ON IT RATHER THEN ASSUMING THOUGH ID ASK ON HERe. I got a M AUDIO MOBILpre, my question is i got it for two purposes to record with finer sound quality going through 1/4, and to be able to achieve good sound playing out when i do.
now my question is how would i go about hooking this mobil pre into a mixer , would it be the ssame cables the r/l that goto my monitors, would now go into a mixer, or does it go through the tiny mic looking output for stereo and split it into two rca(1/8 stereo out on back of mobil pre), how is the sound quality please help me if i can get a good sound ill go return it right away , recording wise i like it, but if i play life i dont want to have it sound like it s playing through headphones of my computer jackk
oh and in ableton how do preliten to tracks to drop them into the set on time i cant seem to figure that out is what i got not what i need please help, i have a few days to return

Depends on the mixer inputs... Know what to expect for.

i read the manual, i have two quater inch outs that i use for speakers, and theres a 1/8 stereo out, im just curious,
ive been practicing and want to start playing out, and want the best sound possible besides eq myself. so at these parties do you guys just run the
l out and r out to the mixer channel, or do i use adapter go from my stereo out 1/8 jack to splitter of like rca the red and white cable into mixer what is best option,
and no the manual does not tell me how to go about hooking it up in a ;live situation
im guessing if it goes even through 1/8 stereo out it will be pk right ?
heres the link to the back of tthe unit < how would you hook it up to a pa or mixing board ??

or can just people say "everything is fine" you will have no problems hooking this up to the mixer and getting good sound" through the m audio soundcard of the mobil pre "
ive been mixing ll my mprs to wavs , and need to play a party thos month, and just wanted to be sure i dont show up and end up going through headphones out on my computer that would be pointless since mainly i got this to play out and hook into a mixer for better sound, and record also , but i work with mmidi mostly so . |

Thanks all,
So from what I gather by the pic I sent to get sound into mixer
-i don't use the LR outputs on. The mobil pre for my montors?
Ascencion- u Mean that green output on the Maudio box, split it into LR with like reg cables or small headphone ones or even split to rca u know what I mean. What's best |

Just connect the 1/4 to the mixer. The mixer should be connected to the monitors of the party, not your soundcard.
Sorry about the 'read the manual'. Was a little harsh maybe

Most mixers won't have a 1/4" input though.
Here's what the back of a Pioneer DJM 600 looks like. I've had weird stuff happen trying to use the 1/4" connections on the bottom- decks are connected to the 1/8" red and white- this is where I've always plugged my soundcard in:
