I agree with you papay, it is just boring. I realy like Yuli's music but this is the worst track he released the last years.. About the remixes only Spektre sounds like remix but it's weak too, about the rest remixes... hmmm they sound too similar with the original to be called remixes.. I bet Yuli will come with something better than this ep soon

there are two issues here:
one is a matter of taste. you dont have to like this or buy this or listen to it. but i think it's quite hard not to appreciate the quality here. this is a very strong release in every aspect you can bring up.
also, i actually found the remixes to be quite different, each one takes quite a different direction and follows it well.
I can say i've "tested" both the original and Avishay's remix on the floors, and they are a sure standout.

Well, not sure what the discussion here is all about. At the end of the day, the question comes down to whether the track works on the dancefloor or not. I tested it, it works. Now, add abit of Yuli flavor to it, and you get a beautiful, dancefloor-friendly track full of melancholy and touch that people cannot simply ignore. As the result, it is not just a a mere track that works on the dancfloor; it is a masterpiece! One of Yuli's best tracks yet.
Oh and about Spektre. If you have a moment and go through their discography, let's say even on Beatport, you will realize that their sound really varies from track to track. Except few elements of course. These elements are known as ARTIST SIGNATURES, and the fact they are implemented is to make sure that people somehow recognize the artist by their music. But now that you mentioned it, Umek and Stephan Bodzin have the same music. In fact, they literally sound the same. Their music is called techno, and it is electronic.

Spektre is the best track of this release, yes I know their music, yes Umek and Stephan Bodzin have the same music as many many others that use the same recipe.. With the same hi hat and rim rythms and the same white noises (fssssssssssss) to give you a push to dance about a minute and then stop waiting for the next fsssssssssss to dance again for a while... If you still like this, it's ok, it's a matter of taste and it's respected. About me I get bored of this and I just say my opinion about it.. Is it bad to say it in public?
Anyway, waiting for the next PS release and no offence to anyone, till then there is plenty of music coming from techno/tech house scene that realy excites me.

Glad to read the feedbacks (and Yuli's humour), after a few weeks off. The release was slightly delayed and came out on jan 12. I guess everybody knows it's available now.
The original will be also featured in the upcoming Flow's V/A Unchartered #2
Enjoy!
PS. Nice video of A. Balter playing his take! http://myspace.com/adenbeatersweet

Prata da Casa is a massive EP!
The remixes don't vary much from the original, which is one of PS better tracks, but that is understandable, considering the nature of this track, and that I think it'll be very hard to change it and keep it as good. They all rock, though, I must say. A good DJ can mish mash them to create some massive confusion on the floor.
Feels like excellent dancefloor stuff and makes your had dance as well. Original is my favourite but I like them all.
