Just wondering if there are any recent production drum sample kits you guys would recommend for producing some clean yet driving rhythm elements.
has anyone tried the g-sonic psytrance drumkit 1 ?           www.infinityloopmusic.com

not yet. I'm downloading the demo samples
http://www.g-sonique.com/gweb/psytrancedrumkit1.htm

there's also
http://www.zenhiser.com/products/Pro-Psytrance-Drum-Loops-01.html
I don't know if it includes the kits... or if is just a pre-made loop collection

Thomas Penton Complete Essential Series

Dino Psaras Global Trance and Psy Styles

i use them both and i think they are great.
esp. the Thomas Penton series includes enough drum samples ... not many loops but lots of high quality varied single drum samples

thanks for the heads up- i listened to some of your suggestions and they all have some nice percussion sounds for sure- after trying the g-sonic demo im still undecided, i like the way they are labeled and some are sparkling some are not...

hmm, dont like the g-sonic examples, it sounds
overcompressed/over eq`ed to me. this "sparkling" is
too much for my taste.
better use normal samples and process those right.          www.soundcloud.com/orgytime

g-sonique sounds are good and fit well.. but they have a certain ambiance that not match all tracks.
maybe they should include a unprocessed version of the samples too

Thomas penton are over processed imo.

My choice is Drum Tools from Wave Alchemy.

I also have Nerve vst (which has some great loops and hits).

The samples in the many drum banks in Ultrabeat.
Other than that, Dr Dre drum samples...biatch.
