thanks a lot for the good words and the compliments
yeah and i forgot something, just to make it more complete:
* it's also very important that not every percussion sample is played at the same volume. real players don't always play every hit at the same volume, there are some with very little volume and some real loud hits on the bongos/congas or whatever you use. (and here again, it's possible to make the line interact with the other parts of the music if you place quiet and loud samples intelligent) |

but if you want to give your percussion a "human" sound dont exaggerate on these volume/velocity changes.. it may sound more like computer "humanized" stuff!

Listen, learn, listen...
All styles are welcome, dont stick to the sqaureness of the grids, stand up and dance to your music and only let go when it is exactly what you want, if not throw it away and do it again, and again, and again...etc.....
