For making fast hitech leads, try to use vst like synth1, sylenth1, largo, etc... The high freq must be clear and not noisy, because it will sound horrible, nord synth would be perfect for this kind of sounds.
The trick is to make short notes 1/64 1/32 1/16 etc.... also make some long notes here and there
Play with 24 db hihgpass and make some crazy automation on the cutoff! Also adding flanger and phaser is nice also, it adds cool driving to the leads. Use more leads sometimes, use panning, whatever you can think off!
A cool trick is to export the sound to wav and play with scizzors and other glitchy effects and techniques.

For hi hats, be sure u use the right sample! For high bpm music, you should also make sure tht the samplle is shorter, compresors and other plugins for dynamic can help this, personaly i would recommend to use the fade out option in cubase and shorten the samples manualy!

it was a topic about percussions and leads...

i not only deleted your posts but also all other having nothing to do with the topic... in the neutral way u wanted

and edited the post with 'narrow minded' (have a closer look next time)

so if u wish to end it, now is the time

i don't want to delete and edit all day, so please continue on topic if u wish to do so.

One of the things I've been playing around with is (in Ableton) putting a large amount of clap samples in a drum rack, and then triggering them randomly.. Then I send the resulting randomized clap sounds through an effect chain with an EQ filtering out everything but the midrange a small reverb, a gate, a compressor and a touch of delay. Makes a very cool percussive chugging clacking sound.
