Does everyone apply reverb to all their percussion?
Do you use equal amounts? Uses a sub group for all drums and then add reverb etc |

Some loops I chop up have reverb already, so sometimes its jsut a matter of using a gate to tame the reverb, or cut it all off, if I wanna apply a hint of my own...depends on the loop. But I do add a hint of tight reverb on pretty much every percussive element... just sounds better to my ears that way.

Fabfilter Timeless is actually a complex delay plugin but you can manipulate it to get some cool non metallic reverb-like effects.

Yeah I apply it on sub group so they all sound in same room if I want it more natural, if theres a sound I wanna bring more in or out I easily put it out of the group and apply separate reverb with different settings.. It just depends on what u want to achieve, there are no rules to follow..

I think its very important not to have too much of reverb on your elements, in dance music some elements should be dry or atleast minimal use of reverb imho. But in downtempo i love those wet airy soundscapes.
