I asked for many producers, and even for 2 drums teachers. But any 1 realy dont know how to answer that.
I did my experiences, in my music: My Beat, in my myspace. I changed the picht of the hihats, and snare to the same tone of the music. Sounds good, but the custom percursion dont sound bad XD.
Any can tell me... Does percursion supost to be at the same tone in e-music?

Not any percs will fit into any song. |

wouldn't say on the same tone ...
but with the pitch you can tune them until
they sit on top of the other frequencies.
in case they are pitched to high they
most likely seem to be from another track.
just change the pitch while having an eye on a spectrum analyzer
... that probably will give you the answer http://www.myspace.com/realtimeproject |

Well thx guys.
I think that I was cofused cause thoughs like: have you ever saw a drummer change the tone of the drums in a rock show?
I asked for 2 professional drummers, and both sayed that Im crazy XD
I know that the stuff works a bit diferente in e-music, thats why I asked.
Thx again.

yeah while kit drummers don't generally tune their drums to a specific note (unlike for example timpani drums in the ochestra which are), the different toms are still generally tuned in such a way that there are specific intervals between them ie perfect 4th or whatever. there's a reason why toms come in the size sets they do, cos of the intervals between the tones of the drums. if you ever hear a tom roll on a drum kit it always sounds pretty pleasing tone wise.
there were also some jazz drummers like max roach who actually did tune their kits/select tom sizes based on the notes and intervals and played their kits very melodically. and then there's drummers like that dude can't remember his name who has about 50 toms all tuned to specific notes and actually does play entire songs/melodic lines on them. |

^^ yeah thats pritty cool and not so realistic
most drummers might tune their drums to something , sure they not gonna change it evry song tho!
this why my brother want 12 toms and 12 crashes hehehe need more money for that i guess..
personly i only care if my percusion sounds right or not , i dont believe u can or need to tune hihat. drummer live with 1-2 for few years , thousands of samples available , just choose the perfect one. sure pitch it is cool option but i wouldnt start use tuners

Micro tonic is very good for ''micro tuning'' every perc part to your track, u tune it by the root freqency of the snare,hi hat and any other noise.
