General Review:
After a huge success with his debut album, Penta is attacking with an absolut killer monster, thats just waiting to get unleashed already! This is one of the most twisted albums I've heared! My best to Nikita, one of my favoraite artists, I knew this album would be a blast! Go search yourself between the vibes...
Track Review:
01. It is Done
A crazy track to open this master piece, filled with unique samples, twisted vocals, this track is only the first one to blow your mind! Starting on 06:17 untill about a minute later, came the most twisted vocal I have ever heared.
02. Detonator
"You gotta use the detonator!" No kidding ha? This one is realy starting to mess with your brain, killer bass-line and another bunch of amaizing samples. This one got a realy scary melody thats repeating itself and just twisting your mind with alot of dark! "Excellent explotion your Majesty!" this mean this track is realy working!
03. Inverter
With some realy drifting vibes, this track takes you on some realy drifting trip, no metter if your high or not! The crazy samples on this track just wont get out of your mind, with some unkown voice at the end, you wont know whats happening to you.
04. Pigletango
"I swear I dont know what youre talking about..." fades into kicks and some samples you can feel vibrating all over your body. I swear I thought that the motorcycle sample (or was it something else?) came from outside the house! This track definitely causes alot of Balbalot if you would let it dig in you.
05. Past Holidays
"And when the doctor said I didnt have worms anymore, that was the happiest day of my life!" I was trying to keep up listening to all of samples taken from "The Simpsons" on the beggining, but I decided it would be easier to drift with the bassline. Good choise! This is my favoraite track on this album, its 100% wicked, electrifying your brain before you notice, so many vocals and samples, its just... damn I cant even find a word to describe it, just listen to it and youll know what Im talking about!
06. September
When I closed my eyes to listen to it, I just felt some wind carying me on to the strong bass and the kicks that fades on stereo from right to left, then comes the wicked growl! Filled with layers, this track is just a journey of itself, no need to do anything but listen to it.
07. Eater of Worlds
I realy liked the beggining of this track, relexes you abit, and then its just pumping you out with some enormous bassline and crazy melody. When I heared "I am immortal, child. I am the eater of worlds, and of children. And you are next." I just felt a goosebumps all over my back, that is one of the wierdest samples Ive heared recently!
08. For The First Time
This track just starts with a realy bouncing drum rythem, keeping you jumping from side to side, digging in you while youre digging to it! Another crazy vocal when we are almost getting to the middle of the track. Again, the bouncing drum rythem, only this time theres a realy frightning growl on the background, and then... I think it got some samples from "The Nanny", but Im not sure.
09. Flash Forward
To end this album, this track is carrying you forward softly, but then when you dont notice, it just pumps you up with a killer bassline and some special rythem. I guess I'll let you listen to it instead of telling you about it, its too complicated for me right now to describe it in words.

Realy a masterpiece this cd. Very twisted sounds with dark atmospheres. The "past holydays" music is the most darkest off all. The samples of the simpsons it really fit in the crazy sounds . Does anybody know what is that melody in the end of the music? looking forward to see it alive. |

Yes, Past Holidays is my favorite up to now too (but I'm only listening to online samples up to now  ). Maybe the melody of the end is Dead Kennedys... I don't know, I read it somewhere.

Mmmmm.....Lovely!
I find this album growing on me more&more every day!!
Top notch production as allways, and this is not anything less!! Penta is still Penta!:)

This album is top notch pure psychedelic good melodies, wicked ideas, smashing dark athmospheres...... it's a must have cd for the psychedelic MENU

Past Holidays is a Dead Kennedy's "holiday in Cambodia" remix of sorts... for me it can't get any better than my favorite punk band and favorite psytrance artist and my favorite character from my favorite tv show together at last. the whole album is amazing!!! Eater of Worlds and Past Holidays are my favorite tracks! Penta for President 2008

I had this album in my CD player for 2 weeks straight, loved it, thought I knew it pretty well. Then at the last outdoor party I didn't like the 'morning' DJ, went back to my car, put in this CD, closed my eyes, and OMFG... the sounds were colors, the shapes of Kandinsky's paintings, and the wolves were howling a few miles away in synch with the music (I am NOT kidding!). Almost every track here is a gem, this is as close to a masterpiece as I've heard in this scene in a very long time.
One of the very few albums I can see myself still listening to and playing in a few years' time. And I have a feeling that this one, like the first one, won't be in stores for very long.

such an intelligent psychedelic trance, that immediately it has become for me a serious nominee for the album of 2005!
indeed, those who said that this album is even better than penta's first, were not far from the truth imo: it is at least as good! every single track here was made with lot of thinking and creativity, and u can feel it, the music is deep and once u finished listenning to the whole album, you're immedialtely play it once again.
and mastering by Son Kite can never be bad. good job Seb and Marcus i think u can feel their touch even by looking at the cover which is very Scandinavian-looking.
although all the tracks here are good, some are even wonderful: 3- Past Holidays, 7- Eater of Worlds and 9- Flash Forward.
Nikita, you've done a great job, this album for sure keepin' it real
