Heya!
Are you using some kind of standard templates that came with SX?
Forget them. Just make your own templates from the empty scratch and you'll never get pending connex for gear you never used.
Nevertheless - for the work in progress simply assign the pending connections to existing ones and save this - bob should be ur uncle.
Well, at least this could be something 4 u Aeon.
In Yantra's case I guess it won't work that easily. Maybe one of these reasons
- you are not using the same ASIO driver?
- youre plugin directories changed and or you are using different versions of vstplugs? (but this shouldnt be a problem for cubase btw)
- did you rename the plugins dlls?
- you are trying to open your cpr with doubleclick? - try to start SX befor you open the projects. Sometimes the initialization fails when doubleclicking a cpr.

You get pending connections windows when Cubase can't find either MIDI interfaces, VST plugins (inc. VSTi) or audio I/O that were used when the song was saved previously. If you get these after reinstalling Cubase then it's likely that you either haven't installed all the plugins the track uses, or some aspect of your MIDI or audio hardware has changed since you last loaded the track.
In SX you can reconnect pending audio and MIDI connections to the appropriate destinations by clicking on the connection and selecting a new destination from the list that appears. I'm not sure if you can do this with pending VST plugins though!
Hope this helps...
