hy to all. can someone tell me is it wrong if the lead or melody has more peaks than kick? I mean if my kick is at -6 peak and melody is -3 peak.. is it wrong? can melody peaks be louder than kick? i hope you understanded

everything is possible
if the sound has short decay then sometimes it has high peaks and to hear it well u need to turn it up. its ok. u can think use compressor here.. thats what it made for.

thank you elad. i heard that the peak level of every instruments has to be under the peak level of kick.
