Overclocking is fun! I once had a AMD xp 1700+ (1.5GHz native speed) clocked to 2.2 ghz on standard aircooler... then I got myself a watercooling system, and started clocking more and more. Rapidly found out that my mobo didnt want to give the dimms nuff voltage, so I went on with a volt-mod, wich ended...not so good. But overclocking is fun!

ok I'll say something here.

Chips are all the same! my Athlon 2600+ is the SAME CHIP (could even be cut on the same die) as someone else's 3200 or 1700 etc. They get rated by how hot the manufacturer can throttle them before they start to fail.

Water cooling is an option if you have to go there, but in general I would recommend *not* overclocking; these chips all run hot enough as it is IMO.
